Ethiopian Human Rights Council (EHRCO) was established on October 10, 1991, has since been legally undertaking it’s human rights monitoring, reporting, advocacy, research, legal aid and Human Rights  education activities across the country.

EHRCO is non- governmental, non-partisan, non-profit organisation that has no affiliation to any political party, religious institution, ethnic group, or social class. It’s sole objectives are to work for the respect of Human Rights, the Rule of the Law and the prvalence of Democracy in Ethiopia.  

Currently, EHRCO has registered under the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation number 1113/2019, with the registration number 1146 as a local organization.  

Opportunity;

The Human Rights Council (EHRCO) is looking for six Part-time Interns to work on our Election and related Human Rights Projects. A Minimal Stipend will be provided.

Requirements;

  • Law, International relation, political science – 3rd  year and above students and Masters students
  • Who can work 20 hours per week with office presence
  • Who has volunteerism experience and
  • Good communication skill with team mates
