Internship Opportunity;

About EHRCO;
Ethiopian Human Rights Council (EHRCO) was established in 1991, EHRCO is a non-governmental human rights organization working on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in Ethiopia.
EHRCO stands for Democracy, Rule of Law and the Respect of Human Rights.
Internship Position
EHRCO is looking Human rights officer interns for a Six Month period. A minimal stipend
will be provided.
Place of work – Addis Ababa, Nekemte, Dire Dawa, Bahir Dar, Gonder, Hawassa
Main Responsibilities;
– Support EHRCO staff in their day to day activities.
– Conduct court, prison and detention centers monitoring and investigation.
– Monitor and investigate Human right violations.
– Assist staff on providing human rights education.
– Provide legal Aid.
– Work on membership development and youth engagement.
Requirements;
– Bachelor Degree in law, political science or related filed.
– 0-year work experience.
– Can work 20 hours per week.
– volunteerism experience and Good communication skill with team mates.
– Fluent in both English and Amharic. Knowledge of a local language is an advantage.

EHRCO is looking Admin and Finance interns for a Six Month period. A minimal stipend will
be provided.
Place of work – Addis Ababa
Main Responsibilities;
– prepare financial records related to general ledger, payroll, budget, expense, etc.
– Assist in account receivable and payable activities.
– Maintain accurate bank records of cash withdrawals and deposits.
– Follow standard accounting process for financial analysis and reporting activities.
– Assist in developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and
procedures;
– Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences,
interviews, orientations, and training sessions;
– Ensuring the office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and
properly maintained;
– Related work as necessary.

– Bachelor Degree in Business, management, finance &Human resource
– 0-year work experience.
– Can work 20 hours per week.

Place of work – Addis Ababa
Main Responsibilities;
– Assist the program department on overall management of project activities and delivery of
results.
– Conduct Donor mapping and project development.
– Set up, break down, organize, and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and meeting
rooms; update organization calendars.
– Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic organization information; oversee
mail deliveries, packages, and couriers.
– Update and post supervised social media campaign and website content; respond to web
correspondence, social media posts, and emails.
– Assist organization functions and team events.
Requirements;
– Bachelor Degree in Law, Political Science, Project Management, Management, and related
filed.
– 0-year work experience.
– Can work 20 hours per week.
– volunteerism experience and Good communication skill with team mates.
– Fluent in both English and Amharic.
